BARNEY’S DOG BISCUITS
2 cups plain flour
1 cup wheat germ (use ¾ in mix and ¼ to roll dough)
2 cups instant oats
1 tin sardines in oil or water
1 cup peanut butter (warm in microwave)
2 eggs beaten
(1 extra egg is you want to glaze your biscuits)
½ cup mmoc (protein & fibre supplement)
water to combine to form dough
Mix everything together,
roll in (¼ cup) wheatgerm,
cut into shapes and glaze with egg
bake in at 160 deg c until hard.
Optional variations
add grated carrot, grated or cooked apple, add a little anchovy oil, chopped parsley, mashed banana, mashed pumpkin……
The good news is that regular peanut butter is safe to give your dog as a treat.
Do Not Use Peanut butter that has the ingredient – Xylitol it will make your dog sick.
(A sugar substitute found in lower quality or sugar-free products).
